Secretarial ComplianceThe Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) on August 24, 2026, issued a notification regarding the creation of a new security type in the CDSL System.

The following has been stated: -

•CDSL has created a new security type 41 – Rights Entitlement Preference Shares (REPRF) in its system.

•Depository Participants (DPs) are advised to take note and incorporate necessary changes in their back-office systems, if applicable.

•Harmonized Value: REPRF.
