The Department of Industries & Commerce, Haryana, on August 19, 2026, issued a Scheme for Assistance for Purchase and Conversion of Boilers to Cleaner Fuels.
The following has been stated: -
•The Haryana Government has notified a scheme to support MSMEs in purchasing new boilers operating on PNG, CNG, or other gaseous fuels, or converting existing boilers to cleaner fuels, to reduce industrial air pollution and facilitate compliance with CAQM standards.
•Eligible MSMEs can receive 50% assistance up to ₹20 lakh for new boilers and up to ₹10 lakh for conversion, subject to prescribed benchmark costs.
•The scheme applies to eligible MSMEs in Haryana for six years from notification, subject to conditions including Udyam registration, HSPCB certification and compliance with CAQM guidelines.
•Applications must generally be submitted within three months of installation, with post-installation verification and a minimum six-year operational requirement.
