EHS ComplianceThe Kerala State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) on August 11, 2026, issued a circular regarding Site Suitability for stone crushers.

The following has been stated: -

•The prescribed land ownership condition for establishment and operation of crusher units has been modified to require clear ownership of the minimum specified land area by the applicant. 

•Leased land is not permitted, while sole individual ownership, joint ownership among partners of a partnership firm, and ownership in the name of the applicant company/entity are acceptable, subject to valid documents. 

•The revised ownership criteria shall apply to all consent applications processed from the date of issuance of the Circular.
